Our fall discussion classes will take up the insights of Barbara Brown Taylor's An Altar in the World: A Geography of Faith. Each of its twelve short chapters introduces a spiritual practice that deepends our daily faith lives. Examples are "The Practice of Waking Up to God," "The Practice of Paying Attention," "The Practice of Living with Purpose." The group will meet weekly through November 28th. Copies of the book ($10) should be available by August 29.
